In the summer of 1994 we finally opened our doors. It was the starting point of a special adventure that started with transforming the old farm into a brasserie. When renovating the barn and stables, we chose authentic building materials to create a charming and nostalgic atmosphere.

A special element in our story is the pulpit ("Preekstoel" in Flemish), which made its own journey from a French antique shop via a friend of my father to our brasserie. Initially, that friend's home lacked the necessary height, so the pulpit rested in my parents' garage for a decade. When the idea of starting a brasserie took shape, my dad suggested a brilliant idea. Why not place the pulpit in the center of the room as a remarkable centerpiece.
 

In those early years we served modest snacks. Over time, we expanded not only our menu, but also the physical space, including an event venue where we welcome guests for various events such as parties, reunions, team building and meetings.

Our cozy terrace also offers a beautiful view over the fields of Heuvelland, so guests can enjoy a beautiful sunset. Feel very welcome with us and our unique story!
